Bridge Center Operations Update
By Tonja Myles
Chair, Community Relations Committee
Over the last month, the Finance Committee received proposals from three third party firms to provide accounting services to the Bridge Center. A firm will be contracted to serve as an outsourced Chief Financial Officer and assume responsibility for day-to-day accounting duties of the Bridge Center to ensure accountability and efficiencies. The Bridge Center anticipates selecting a firm this quarter and beginning to transition all accounting duties shortly thereafter.
The Operations Committee continued finalizing the details of a Solicitation of Proposals (SOP) for a clinical provider for the Bridge Center’s proposed services. This is in keeping with national best practices around the provision of crisis stabilization services. The SOP will be distributed to national experts in this space for review before the SOP is finalized. The Committee anticipates finalizing, approving, and releasing the SOP this quarter. This SOP will be distributed publicly to both local and national behavioral health providers and posted on the Bridge Center’s website.
We look forward to seeing the Center come to fruition in early 2020 and will continue to keep you updated along the way.
